Osorio's Latin Fusion

When I was put in charge of hiring a restaurant to cater a birthday party at my office, I knew just where to go. Osorio’s Latin Fusion in Appleton has become one of my favorite restaurants due to their wide range of vegetarian and gluten-free menu options, not to mention the personality and flare of their traditional Mexican dishes!

Every dish at Osorio’s is original and made in-house, many from family recipes that have been passed down through the generations. The dining environment is not too loud, and allows for plenty of personal space and comfort. The décor is modern, with flares of color throughout.

On this occasion, however, we were able to enjoy Osorio’s wonderful cuisine right at our office. We ordered the Pollo Parado, Veggie Pasta and Baja Tacos, along with fresh chips and delicious house-made salsa. “The crisp, homemade tortilla chips were excellent! They were only made better by the delicious refried black beans and roasted salsa,” praised a member of our team.

My personal favorite was the Veggie Pasta, a fresh and tangy blend of fresh spinach, mushrooms, corn, black beans and red bell pepper tossed with tomato cream sauce and linguini. It was extremely tasty and very satisfying, and reminded me of the inside of their Veggie Burrito that I typically order, but mixed in with fresh linguini. It satisfied my craving for Mexican and Italian food in one meal!

The rest of our staff very much enjoyed the Pollo Parado, which is a delicious chicken breast stuffed with poblano peppers and cheese, coated in panko bread crumbs and topped with tomato cream sauce. “I really liked the Pollo Parado! The flavor was nicely balanced with just a hint of spiciness and it was filling,” commented another co-worker.

We knew the Baja Tacos would be just as delicious and satisfying because many of us have ordered them in the past. They are certain to satisfy the cravings of any meat eater, with a perfect blend of blackened chicken, tender steak and succulent shrimp smothered in sautéed bell peppers, onions and tomatoes and served with tortillas. The flavor is out of this world!

Osorio’s also offers regular wine-tasting events, which usually last about two hours and feature a four course meal paired with delicious wines! A private dining area is also available for private parties and events. And, of course, they provide catering as well.

Visiting restaurants with a lot of heart and passion is something I always enjoy, and you can feel that in the food and environment at Osorio’s!
