Did you know Appleton has a baby and parenting expo? — Join the fun on April 19

Calling all parents-to-be, parents and grandparents! The fourth Appleton Belly, Birth and Beyond Expo is scheduled for April 19 at the Grand Meridian on Meade Street, just off Northland Avenue. The expo hosts over 50 area businesses and nonprofits, and welcomes between 200 and 300 guests. Bring a friend and plan to spend the day getting to know service providers in our community and shopping the huge variety of handmade crafts and products. The best part: Admission is free!

We take pride in providing no-cost space for several area nonprofits. You’ll find La Leche League, Jake’s Diapers, ICAN of Green Bay, The Intact Network, The Metta Birth Project and more in the front entrance hall.

Many of our exhibitors have been with Belly, Birth and Beyond since the beginning. We have welcomed back several businesses like A Natural Mom’s Touch, Nucopia, Becky’s Bags, Relax’n Birth and Alba Birth Center time and again. But don’t worry about seeing the “same old businesses” — there are plenty of newcomers to our exhibitor family. Swing by Augusten Skye Birth Services, Mama’s Country Market, Snug L Bee, Beautiful Life Birth Services and so many more.

Everyone in the family can find something at the Appleton Belly, Birth and Beyond Expo, including handmade health and beauty products, fiber art (from hats to toys), hand-sewn baby and toddler items, chiropractors, hospital and out-of-hospital birth providers, doulas, educators… the list goes on.

The first 100 guests will get a grab bag with samples, info and coupons. The expo also boasts giveaways, a silent auction (benefiting one of our nonprofits), additional samples, shopping, information and education, and body art by Joyful Henna Designs.

Doors open at 10 a.m. and the fun ends at 3 p.m. Parking is ample and there is a free coat (and diaper bag) check on site. Grab a free water and enjoy our mother’s rest area, sponsored by 920 Birthing, while you rest your feet or feed your baby.

Find Deux La La Events on Facebook and join the expo event for the latest updates. While you’re there, check out the event for our new expo coming to Green Bay at the KI Convention Center in February of 2016. “Growing up Green Bay” will focus on families with kids of all ages, and offer entertainment, demonstrations, activities and games, room for over 100 exhibitors, grab bags for the first 100 guests, door prizes, and more to be announced!

Information for guests and interested exhibitors can be found online at www.DeuxLaLaEvents.com. We are still accepting exhibitor applications for the Appleton expo, but space is filling quickly. We will begin taking exhibitor and entertainer applications for Green Bay in the near future.

See you on April 19!
