January 2015

A new year has arrived — along with all the expectations of what it will bring. Newborn 2015 offers each of us a fresh start, a blank canvas. What 2015 will hold for you is limited only by your imagination and will to succeed!

Perhaps this is the year you finally take that trip you’ve always wanted. You’ll travel near, far and everywhere in between; you will see all this wide world has to offer. In 2015 you will immerse yourself in other cultures, make new friends and learn more about yourself than in all your previous years combined.

Or perhaps you will experience something a bit closer to home. Maybe you’ll break a bad habit or overcome a challenge that’s been plaguing you for some time. Is this the year you’ll turn your finances around, start investing for the future and pave your way to becoming debt-free?

Maybe 2015 will open the door to learn a new skill. Is a different language, a musical instrument or an artistic medium like sculpture or painting waiting for you? Adding a new means of self-expression to your life can be extremely fulfilling. Perhaps you’ll make it a priority to journal every week or even every day this year. Just think of all you’ll discover about yourself and the world around you when you take time to reflect.

Will this be a year of healing? If you’re hurting, know that you deserve to feel happy. Make this the year you truly and fully forgive yourself for your past transgressions — both those against others and yourself. Take those necessary first steps to move past the pain and rediscover joy.

Perhaps you’ll feed your soul this year. Whether you find your connection to something greater in a defined faith or outside of one, rejoice in it! Take time to nurture your spiritual side.

Is this the year you start — and stick to —your goal of building the healthiest life you can?
