March 2015

Put a spring in your step

March officially houses the beginning of spring — even though we Wisconsinites know better. We’re well prepared for a few more snows and freezing temps.

Yet, while those gentle showers, warmer temps and colorful flowers might still be a few weeks away, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a renewal all our own. Why not let March be the month you rejuvenate your passion for well-being? Whether this means you’ll focus on taking your fitness practices to the next level, supporting or improving your mental health, improving your nutrition, engaging in a hobby or pursuit you care about, March is a great time to turn your attention to yourself — and we want to help you along this journey.

One of things we love best about Nature’s Pathways is the opportunities to try new things and adapt them to our needs and desires. Tips found in our expert-written articles might appeal to you right off the bat, or they might inspire something inside of you, motivating you to try something you’ve never before had the guts or background knowledge to do!

Take it from one of our readers:

I’m not planning to have a child any time soon, so I used to simply flip past the Healthy Kids articles and pregnancy-focused pieces in the magazine. But I have been feeling quite a bit stressed and lost in my life lately. One article suggested providing help or support to others as a way to rekindle one’s spirit, and it suddenly occurred to me: Just because the child-focused articles in Nature’s Pathways don’t have an immediate impact on my life, doesn’t mean that they won’t be life-changing for someone else. So I gave a few copies to my friends who are parents or are planning to be.

This simple act of service paid off! It was so rewarding to hear my friends say, “Wow! That’s the type of birth experience I want,” or to see them try out new ways to connect with their children.

We encourage you to uncover the inspiration and information that will feed your soul, and then pass along your copy of Nature’s Pathways to another who could benefit from the expert advice and more found within the following pages. It’s time to rekindle your passion!
