Clean Granola Bars


  • 2 cups whole grain oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¾ cup sucanat
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp. sea salt
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 egg, beaten1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup chopped almonds


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl and wet ingredients in a medium to small bowl.
  3. Add wet mixture to the dry and mix well.
  4. Spread a thin layer of coconut oil on the 9x13 baking dish and press mixture into the pan evenly.
  5. Bake for 27-33 minutes or until lightly brown.
  6. Let cool and cut into bars.
