Dermatology Associates of Wisconsin, S.C.

Dermatology Associates of Wisconsin, currently serving 19 locations throughout the state, now offers pediatric dermatology, a service that was previously non-existent in Northeast Wisconsin.

Dr. Susan Keiler, board certified dermatologist, is the only fellowship trained pediatric dermatologist in Northeast Wisconsin. Dr. Keiler completed her training in pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital before completing dermatology residency at Case Medical Center and a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Dr. Keiler strives to provide the best quality skin care for infants, children and adolescents in a fun, relaxed, child-friendly environment. A pediatric dermatologist understands that children are not small adults. Unlike adults, children cannot always explain what is ailing them and may not always be cooperative during medical exams. Pediatric dermatologists know how to examine and treat children in a way that puts them at ease.

Dr. Keiler offers the latest medical advances in pediatric dermatology including oral propranolol and topical timolol for hemangiomas and early pulsed dye laser therapy for port-wine stains. She also works in collaboration with a variety of pediatric specialists in the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas.

It is important to Dr. Keiler that children and parents are listened to and that their questions are answered. She works with families as a team to make skin care as pleasant as possible for both the child and parents. Her goal is to ensure that parents understand their child's skin condition and how to manage it as safely as possible to reduce possible symptoms (pain, itching) and minimize any possible complications in the future that may adversely affect a child's health or self-esteem.
