The YMCA of the Fox Cities

The YMCA of the Fox Cities may be known for its fitness facilities, but it has so much more to offer the community than just a place to work out.

With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves our community’s health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors.

The Y has something for everyone. The Y offers a unique combination of programs that improve health, nurture youth, and connect you to this community that you’ll only find at the Y. Programs include: Aquatics, Child Care, Adult Leagues, Active Older Adults, School Age Care, Arts and Humanities, Youth and Government, Swim Team, Youth Sports, Health and Fitness, Preschool, Youth/Teen, Special Needs, Gymnastics and Camps.

The YMCA of the Fox Cities consists of five branches: Appleton, Fox West, Heart of the Valley, Neenah-Menasha and Apple Creek, which features the Bruce B. Purdy Nature Preserve offering more than three miles of hiking trails winding through wooded uplands, ponds, wetlands and restored prairie.

The Y also owns and operates Camp Nan A Bo Sho, a 40-acre resident camp on the shores of Waubee Lake near Lakewood, Wisconsin. Family, adult and specialty camps are offered along with camps for ages 6-17 offering traditional camping experiences such as swimming, sailing, canoeing and target sports. Scholarships and opportunities to “earn your way” make the camp experience possible for everyone.

The YMCA of the Fox Cities is proud to be part of a national initiative, LIVESTRONG at the Y, a 12-week small group program designed for cancer survivors who have become de-conditioned or chronically fatigued from their treatment and/or disease. It’s available free to both Y members and the general public.

The Y is for all. We make sure that everyone, no matter their age, gender, race or ability is welcomed as part of the Y family. The Y believes in providing membership and program services to all who desire to participate. Scholarships are available through contributions to the annual YMCA of the Fox Cities Strong Kids Campaign.
