Evergreen Credit Union: Helping People Succeed

Evergreens retain freshness, interest and popularity. Evergreens are always green, blooming, vibrant, strong and durable. It’s also a wonderful description of the financial organization called Evergreen Credit Union.

Let’s begin at their roots: ECU was incorporated on March 28, 1958, as Wisconsin Tissue Employees Credit Union with 37 members. In November of 2002, the members approved a charter change allowing an open charter and the name change to Evergreen Credit Union. Their vision is to create lifelong relationships that capture members’ imaginations. Their mission is to inspire members to achieve their dreams by delivering innovative and sustainable financial solutions with amazing service.

The people who work at Evergreen Credit Union share their hearts with community outreach projects and their unique personalities with members.

Evergreen Credit Union improves the landscape of members’ lives with lending opportunities that harvest their financial dreams; whether it’s a new home, car, recreational vehicles or simply a credit card or an overdraft line of credit. They also offer checking account choices that cultivate personal preferences that greatly enhance members’ daily lives. ECU offers uniquely named saving accounts to incorporate the green, growing theme like Evergreen seed savings, Mistletoe Savings, and Seedling Club for members age 12 and under.

Being green comes naturally at the credit union, which follows green environmental practices as much as possible. Members are encouraged to utilize free online banking, which delivers electronic statements, alerts, notices and provides free bill payment via an ECU checking account. Members may also branch out with Evergreen Investment Services, safe deposit boxes, money orders, saving bonds or take advantage of the free notary service, coin counter and night deposit.

Evergreen Credit Union is a great place to sow the seeds of savings, grow a brighter future and harvest financial dreams. The credit union is located at 1500 W. American Drive – just West of CB, in Neenah – and is open Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12 noon. Their membership field is everyone who works or lives in Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara or Winnebago Counties. Helping people succeed is what they do very well.
