Terry Naturally & Caffe Naturally: A Healthy Duo for Northeast Wisconsin

The first thing you notice at the Terry Naturally health food store in Green Bay is the light, open, welcoming space. Then it hits you: this place carries a lot of stuff!

You'll find nutritional supplements, gluten-free bread, natural shampoos and beauty supplies, goat's milk and cheese, and an amazing selection of fresh olive oils that are probably the most delicious form of antioxidants around. And just adjoining the store, you can stop by for a cup of rich coffee and one of the tastiest meals in town at the organic, gluten-free restaurant, Caffé Naturally.

But as impressive as the inside space of the building is, the friendly, knowledgeable staff is truly the heart and soul of both businesses.

Owned and operated by Terry and Debra Lemerond, the Terry Naturally store and Caffé Naturally are fast becoming a combined destination for health-conscious customers in the Green Bay and Fox Valley area and beyond.

"We see customers who literally drive hours to be here, because they love the store and Caffé, and because they just can't find this wide range of products and personalized service close to home," mentions Debra Lemerond, manager and co-owner.

It can be tough to walk into a store and begin talking to someone you don't know about a health concern. And that's why having such a helpful crew is so important. "We believe in building sincere relationships with our customers," Lemerond continues. "When you remember what is going on in someone's life, what their health concerns are, and genuinely care about their well-being, it makes a big difference."

Aside from the service and selection, there are frequent presentations on all manner of health topics by speakers including natural health pioneer and co-owner, Terry Lemerond. Plus, every Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 7 pm, there is a farmers market that showcases locally-produced foods, features live music, and includes extended hours for the Caffé. If the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor market, it's no problem — the whole works simply moves indoors. It's an enjoyable, family-friendly environment and an excellent way to celebrate good health.

While the Caffe is certified gluten-free (there's no cross-contamination from other grains) they're main emphasis is that the food taste delicious. (I can attest to the bison burger and sweet potato fries, and plan to go back for more.) In fact, if you didn't know the food was gluten-free, it would simply rate as extremely tasty.

Terry Naturally/Caffé Naturally is located at 2625 Development Drive, just off the south GV exit from highway 172. The store is open from 9 am until 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Caffé hours are from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday through Saturday with extended hours on Wednesdays only until 7 pm. Both locations are closed on Sunday.

The phone number is (920) 965-1002, FAX number is (920) 965-1003, or you can check out the Web site at http://www.terrynaturally.com.
